Mission Statement
Welcome to Zoomagreen.org! My name is Michael Schultz and I am the founder of Zoomagreen.org. By working within the recycling industry the past few years, I have found time and time again how ordinary people like you and me want to recycle. If only given the opportunity or some sense of direction, I have personally seen an excitement and anticipation within people that they want to take on the necessary steps to contribute.
I beleve if you asked most people that you came into contact with if they would rather recycle, as opposed to their secondary material being thrown into a hole in the ground, they would prefer to recycle. The largest problem and often a hindrence is lack of knowledge and education about how and where to recycle.
This is why Zoomagreen.org exists, to educate the mass populace in some small way about recycling. By reading some of our current articles and editorials by our primary contributors, I hope it leads to insightful ideas to fill in the blanks of recycling. Even you, the recycler, can be an important contributor to helping reduce the world's secondary waste stream, by simply sharing what you know. For example, someone could post information on how to recycle specific materials or someone could post a request for specific materials that you might have and want to recycle. This is what Zoomagreen.org is about, supplying options to recyclers when you think there aren't any.
Believe me, I am not an expert in the recycling field, I am just a regular guy who leads a regular life. I want to contribute and try to do the right thing. All I have to do is look at my family, that's all the motivation I need in my life. At the end of the day, if Zoomagreen.org helps out in any small way by making the world a better place, we've done our job.
